Speakers George Watson, Cindy Wootten, and Gene Johnson
George Watson is the president of the T3 Group, an organizational behavior firm out of St. Paul, MN. Throughout George’s extensive and successful career, he has focused his efforts on improving business results for clients—first, as a national sales and marketing manager for 3M’s Healthcare division, and then as a founder and principal owner of Results Unlimited, a business consulting firm. George has served as Vice President of Sales and Operations for the Juntunen Group, a media production company, and most recently as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Implex, an Internet technology company. George holds a BS from Morehouse College in Atlanta, and an MBA from Weatherhead School of Management in Cleveland.
Cindy Wootten has been a Minneapolis area account representative with Shred-it—the world’s leading on-site document destruction company—since August of 2000. Shred-it provides services to more than 14,000 area companies. Previously, Cindy managed a sales position out of Atlanta or a New York Fabric House. Clients included fabric stores, designers and costume departments like Disney World and Busch Gardens. Cindy is a graduate of Iowa State University.
Gene Johnson is Chairman and CEO of Metro Communication Services, Inc, a provider of Integrated Technology Solutions that include voice & data cable infrastructure, IP products, building security, fire alarm and AV solutions. Gene is an accomplished executive with a successful record in planning, developing, and implementing business strategies that deliver dramatic increases in sales and profit. In 2001, the Metropolitan Economic Development Association recognized Gene as Entrepreneur of the Year. He serves on the Board of Directors for Twin Cities Rise and MinnesotaMinority Supplier Development Council, and is an active volunteer for Catholic Charities.
