Rick Olson - Professional speaker on networking and positive outcomes
Rick Olson has been speaking nationally since 1979. As a former minister, Rick specialized in speaking to young people during the decade of the '80s. He developed a national high school outreach program, developed a youth major in a college, organized a youth cross cultural experience between the US and Great Britain, conducted a national youth leadership conference and wrote training materials for teens.
In 1992, Rick began Rick Olson Seminars, focussing on speaking and training in the business world. Presently, Rick conducts 130 seminars per year for businesses, associations and corporations across the country. His themes focus on people skills, such as customer service, sales, handling change, stress reduction in the workplace, management skills and team building.
He is often involved in fund raising for charities. His efforts include raising $125,000 for D.A.R.E. through a program entitled, "D.A.R.E. to Build a House in Seven Days." He has also raised over $100,000 through the vehicle of golf marathons.
Rick is also an author, having written training manuals for the financial services world on sales skills and customer service. He also supplies monthly articles for companies on the following themes; Are You Fun To Work With and Out Of This World Customer Service. He is currently writing two new books.
