Embrace Technology to Stay at the Top of Your Profession
Have you updated yourself lately on the communication technologies that affect our profession? Do you wish you could mentally download everything you need to know to keep current? Would you like to learn more about e-commerce, intranets, online and wireless technology?

The IABC Minnesota Technology Conference returns each spring with a lineup of local and national speakers who show how current technologies are working for them and their organizations.

Speakers and Topics
The keynote speaker will be internationally renowned trend forecaster and technology analyst, Cheryl Currid. Currid will discuss how technology trends are affecting business and how that will affect us as communicators, the tools we use, and how we communicate.

The event also features celebrated consultant, author and speaker Shel Holz, who will discuss using the intranet to communicate change, connecting employees to the marketplace, measuring the effectiveness of online communications, and writing for the Web.

Other speakers are:

• Kim Garretson, Internet Tools Consultant at Aveus, Producer and Syndicator of LivingHome, will speak on Demystifying Internet Communications Tools
• Sam Richter, Senior Director of E-Business Marketing at Digital River, will present E-Business Marketing: Tips, Trends & Traps
• Chris Mahai, CEO at Aveus, will talk about Integrated Communications: Learning from Early Interactive Developments
• Bob French, Principal at Ruckus Interactive, will provide An Overview of Technology for Marketing Today
