Luncheon Presentation
The FISH! Philosophy
Carr Hagermann, learning speaker, ChartHouse International Learning Corporation

People must decide for themselves whether an organization's vision is worth committing to. They must see it, feel it, live it - and when they do, they generate amazing, self-sustaining power. That's what the FISH! Philosophy is all about - and why it's so effective.

ChartHouse Learning speakers invite you to discover the power that already exists within you.

Carr provokes important conversations about:

Customer service: "Staying fully present is about the possibility of making a difference with every encounter."

Adaptability: "You can reach your creative potential by stepping outside your comfort zone."

Creativity: "Playing is a mode of discovery, problem-solving, managing change. That's why every employee should make a long-term, daily commitment to play at work."

Accountability: "'Being It' means taking absolute ownership of the company by the way you live your job from moment to moment."

Teamwork: "You and your coworkers depend on one another for survival. Maybe we should think of ourselves less as members of an organizations than as parts of an organism."

Carr Hagermann
Juggling stories, balancing a ladder on his chin or holding hundreds of people in the palm of his hand, Carr Hagerman understands how a single moment can leave lasting impressions.

Carr has been creating memorable experiences since he first stepped on a stage, then off it. For many years he has entertained and assaulted audiences as the Ratcatcher, performing with magicians Harry Anderson and Penn & Teller.

Through these experiences, Carr learned how to think quickly in a crowd, how to read people and how to transform almost anything into a prop. He learned the essence of live learning-that an interactive performance succeeds when the audience becomes the experience.

In recent years Carr has brought his talents to the world of business as a storyteller, inspiring organizations such as American Express, Wells Fargo, 3M, Lands End, United Way, Imagistic and The Limited Companies to create more effective, fulfilling and human workplaces.
