Join Sales & Marketing Executives (SME) for lunch on Friday, March 18th at the Town and Country Club to learn how four dedicated business owners achieved success – more than once, and the mistakes they've made along the way. This will be a moderated panel discussion focused on buying, selling and dissolving companies, leadership, dedication and knowing when to move on.

Mike Sowada is the CEO and co-Founder of Digital North - a web hosting firm in the Twin Cities.  Mike had also started two other businesses: DKS Systems (a web development firm) and Larry’s List (a Twin Cities community site).  He has also been involved with numerous other startups in Minnesota.  A 19 year technology and business veteran, Mike has worked in various capacities with Accenture, Best Buy, Musicland, Net Perceptions, Northwest Airlines, and numerous other firms and startup firms. His clients include: 3M, AAA, Abra Auto, AmericInn, Arctic Cat, Better Life Media, Caribou Coffee, Carmichael Lynch, Carlson Companies, Health Partners, Miracle-Ear, Radisson, and Rockler to name a few.

Mr. Sowada holds a BS in Computer Science and Mathematics and received his MBA with honors from the University of St. Thomas
